Pierre Legrand joins as a Managing Director to lead Alvarez & Marsal’s Digital Financial Services Practice

London, 10 November 2023 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to expand its Financial Services and Digital practices in London with the appointment of Pierre Legrand as a Managing Director in London.

Mr Legrand will lead A&M’s Digital Financial Services practice. He has 25 years of banking, consulting and technology leadership experience, specialising in helping businesses develop and then implement digital transformation strategies, at pace.

 His appointment will bolster both A&M’s Financial Services offering and its Digital and Technology Services team. He will support clients primarily across the consumer banking, insurance and wealth management sectors, while also supporting clients outside of financial services to deploy payment solutions.

Mr Legrand has worked in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America across sectors including financial services, telecommunications, energy, media, food & beverage, retail and transportation. Prior to joining A&M, Mr Legrand was CEO of the Global Consulting and Services arm at fintech consultancy 11:FS, working with clients on the implementation of new digital banking propositions and product deployment. Mr Legrand also spent 10 years with PwC as a Managing Partner and in leadership roles across its Asia Pacific Experience Consulting and Technology Consulting businesses. He also brings extensive operational and sector experience to A&M, having spent eight years at Barclays, latterly serving as Head of Infrastructure and Service Delivery for Western Europe and at Genpact leading the Banking and Capital Markets Transformation Service globally.
