Remuneration continues to take center stage and remains under scrutiny as we move out of the pandemic. At the same time, the UK government, regulators, and investors are toughening their expectations for best practice and reporting. The appropriateness of many of the decisions taken by companies during the pandemic was assessed by shareholders at this year's Annual General Meetings (AGMs). Unsurprisingly, not every decision taken during the pandemic was met with approval.
